As we get more referrals, and volunteers move on, we have a growing waiting list of people wanting company and support. We always welcome new volunteers and run different events across the area to attract new people.
Every few months in Whitby, Malton, Pickering and Kirkbymoorside we hold a lively and informal volunteer hub where people can chat to one another, ask questions of the team and other volunteers, and look to attract new volunteers through word of mouth. These are held in local cafes; who doesn’t like a cuppa and a chat?
