CTNY in partnership with Kirkbymoorside Golf Club

28 September 2026

Caring Together North Yorkshire (CTNY) is delighted to announce its community partnership with Kirkbymoorside Golf Club. The Club and the Charity signed a ‘Memorandum of Intent’ in July, formalising their commitment to work collaboratively to build a values-aligned relationship that would benefit both organisations, and, more importantly, the communities they both serve.

It is hoped that the partnership will encourage Club members and staff to actively support the Charity’s mission to reduce loneliness and social isolation for carers as well as those who live alone and enhance the Charity’s profile in and around Kirkbymoorside.

The community partnership is based on clearly shared values, with both organisations agreeing to promote inclusivity, equality and accessibility; act in the best interests of the local community at all times; maintain transparency and open communication and to respect each other’s independence and governance structures.

Expect to see reciprocal marketing, including the display of each other’s logos on their websites and other relevant marketing materials, with both organisations publicising the partnership in their respective newsletters and social media platforms. A CTNY event is being planned at the Golf Club this Autumn, and in the months ahead, the Charity and the Club will explore further opportunities to work together.

Speaking of the partnership Ann Ferguson, Chief Operating Officer, says: “We are delighted to be working within this community partnership with Golf Club. They are a respected and established part of community life in Kirkbymoorside and our collaboration with them can only be of benefit to the people our charity serves. We are hoping that Club members and staff will take a meaningful interest in the work that we do, supporting and publicising it, and perhaps even volunteering with us! We’re looking forward to a long and successful partnership.”
