Quiz Night Raises £214 at Pickering Recreation Club

On the 4th October, Pickering Recreation Club hosted a fundraising quiz night that certainly put our brains through their paces! It was a tough quiz with more than a few questions leaving us scratching our heads but we gave it our best shot, enjoyed plenty of laughs and, most importantly, raised a fantastic £214.

The evening had a lovely friendly atmosphere, with regulars to the club puzzling over answers, debating their best guesses and enjoying the more rare moments of certainty!

We are very grateful to Pickering Recreation Club for welcoming us and supporting the fundraiser. A huge thank-you also goes to everyone who attended, took part, donated and helped create such an enjoyable evening. Your generosity and good humour made all the difference.

If you know of other pubs or clubs who hold quizzes or other social events for charity then please do let us know. It is a great opportunity to share what we do within different communities, to extend our reach and maybe even find some new volunteers, as well as exercise our brains!
